I swear, the subtle networking that goes on
at my work is insane.
Insane.
A double use of the word was warranted.
I’ve met council members, local and traveling
artists, musicians and countless faces I’m
sure I’ll see on billboards later.
One such musician is this guy, Allan Boothe.
On several occasions, I’ve been startled by his
resemblance (physical, not musical) to Andrew Bird.
He might possibly hate me for that, but I don’t
know him, so I’ll forgive myself.

Stole this straight from his site:
Allan Boothe is a singer/songwriter who applies a refreshing perspective to dark and introspective themes with the emotive, child-like wonder of a young boy. He
sings haunting and sometimes humorous lullabies using alliterative, elusive lyrics which seem to suggest the sense rather than simply state it. Inherently raw and intrinsically human, his voice has been described as “forcefully fragile, high and throaty imperfection that captures his soulful sentiments in the same vein as Isaac Brock, Gordon Gano and Neil Young.”
I enjoy supporting the locals, and I want you to too. Also, he’s got talent so why not?
this is
