Final for Packaging design: a product line. I have chosen milk in cartons.
Here are my drafts. Hopefully I will have some nice pictures from the first year
photographers when they are all complete.

By the by I got a 4.0 on my tea box (växa if you’ll remember) so I am happy.

Stuff I Like: The Collection

May 25, 2009 · 1 Comment

All of these were sitting on my desktop, just asking to be combined into one glorious mashup post of design and photography. Most of this stuff makes me wonder where my creativity is hiding. Sadly, none of it is by me.

I know, right?

I’m sure you saw Chelsey’s design for a tea called Vaxa the other day, so I thought I’d satisfy your curiosity and post mine. My company is a traditional one, called Bishop. As of yet, it’s still a work in progress. We’ll see where it goes.

Designer Packages

Who knew a coffee could look so good dressed in plaid? Or that an off-brand style plastic bag could come off as chic? Welcome to designer packaging.

Help

January 3, 2009 · 1 Comment

“Everyone needs a little help from time to time.”

This is the motto of Help Remedies, a new company that – as they say – helps people. But Help helps people with bandages and headache pills. And that’s all.

Help, Headache Pills

Help, Bandages

Luckily for them, they know how to design lovely packaging and have a great sense of humor.

Here is what they have to say:

“Many companies enjoy packaging their goods inside nasty materials covered in gaudy graphics. That’s because many companies are controlled by crazy people.”

“Most of our packaging is made of molded paper pulp. We enjoy molded paper pulp because it is soft and it makes interesting shapes. Also because it is made from 100% recycled materials and it is compostable – which means one day, it will probably become a part of a large tree.”

I encourage you to visit their website, ineedhelp.com, and play a few of the games tucked away under the Bored? tab. You will love them for it.
